Project Solar UK Takes a Solar Leap into Television and Radio Advertising

Project Solar UK, the country’s foremost installer and retailer of solar panels, is excited to announce its debut on television and radio with a captivating new campaign, “Pint Sized Savers.” This engaging advertisement aired on 13 November, marking a significant milestone for the company as it embraces mainstream media to promote the benefits of solar energy to the public.

The “Pint Sized Savers” advert premiered on ITV across four key regions, Granada, Anglia, Central and West Country. It features two young children engaging in a wholesome conversation outside their homes, portraying solar panels as a vital solution for sustainable living. One child assures his friend that their parents can now sleep soundly, thanks to the installation of solar panels. The campaign’s focus on engaging young minds not only highlights the importance of solar energy but also showcases Project Solar UK’s commitment to a brighter, more sustainable future for the next generation.

Simon Peat, CEO of Project Solar UK, expressed his enthusiasm for this major step forward in the company’s marketing efforts, stating, “The interest in solar panels is immense, and we are bringing our message onto TV and radio to show our position as the leading installer and retailer of solar panels in the country. We want to inspire people of all ages to consider the environmental and financial benefits of harnessing solar energy.” To demonstrate the company’s commitment to helping educate the general public on how solar works and the benefits of installing solar panels, Project Solar is offering a free battery on orders over £8999, for a limited time.

In addition to spreading the word through the television campaign, Project Solar UK’s radio advertisement will be featured on prominent stations including Smooth, Greatest Hits, X, The Voice, and Nation radio stations. This multi-channel approach aims to reach a diverse audience and underscore the accessibility of solar energy solutions for many different types of households.

Solar panels are a crucial part of the clean energy revolution, offering numerous advantages for homeowners and the environment. They harness the power of the sun to generate electricity, reducing reliance on traditional fossil fuels and lowering energy bills. Solar panels also contribute to a significant reduction in carbon emissions, making them a vital tool in combating climate change and rising energy bills.

Simon Peat further emphasised the importance of renewable energy solutions, stating, “Solar panels are not just an investment in your home; they’re an investment in the future of our planet. By harnessing the power of the sun in any weather, homeowners can enjoy energy assistance while actively participating in the fight against climate change.”

Project Solar UK’s “Pint Sized Savers” campaign was brought to life through the collaboration of creative agencies Brazil Street, WhatMedia and theEword, who shared the company’s vision of promoting solar energy as an accessible and sustainable choice for all. It is part of the ITV Backing Business initiative to help keep British business moving.

Project Solar UK invites viewers and listeners to explore the world of solar energy and discover the benefits of embracing a cleaner, greener future.
